NTL BASEBALL: INDIANS TOP NORTHEAST BRADFORD (April 15, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Cowanesque Valley cruised to an 11-3 win over Northeast Bradford to stay unbeaten in NTL small school baseball play here Wednesday.
The Indians scored 11 unanswered runs to move to 8-1 on the season and 4-0 in the division with the win.
Five pitchers combined to hold NEB to five hits .. none after the first inning. Lucas Hamilton started and gave up three unearned runs on one hit and three walks with one strikeout.
Ayren Morgan went two-thirds of an inning, walking one with one K. Dave Hess pitched three and a third innings, giving up two base hits, walking one and striking out five, Levi Stahli threw one and two-third innings and surrendered two hits while striking out four and Hunter Simonds recorded the final out for the Indians.
CV had 16 base hits in the win. Hess had three hits, with a double, an RBI and three runs scored and Levi Stahli had three hits and an RBI.
Hamilton had two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored, Gavin Churchill had two hits, two RBI and a run scored, Morgan had two hits and scored two runs and Simonds had two hits and scored once.
Brody Bruce e and Cam Stahli had a base hit each and William Kies and Logan Huntington each scored.
Cowanesque Valley (8-1) is scheduled to return to action on Thursday at Canton.
