NTL SOFTBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY ROLLS TO 9-1 WIN OVER NEB (April 16, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — The CV Lady Indians collected six extra base hits and rolled to a 9-1 win over Northeast Bradford in NTL small school softball action Wednesday.
Cowanesque Valley scored two runs in the first inning, four runs in the second, one run in the fifth and their final two in the sixth.
Lilah LaBarron led the way at the plate for CV with three base hits .. including a triple and a double .. and added five RBI and a run scored. LaBarron also earned the win from the circle, throwing all seven innings and allowing an unearned run on five NEB hits and three walks with seven strikeouts.
Zeraya Wilson had three hits, with a double, two RBI and three runs scored. Raegan Watson had a double and an RBI, Taylor Eldridge had a double and a run scored, Natalie Grab had a double, an RBI and a run scored, Braelynn Balada and Bella Mascho each had a hit and scored a run and Emma Carl scored.
The Lady Indians (4-4) snapped a four game losing streak with the win. They’ll return to play on Thursday at Canton.
