VARSITY BASEBALL: HORNETS EARN NON-LEAGUE WIN IN ROUT OF COUDERSPORT (April 18, 2026)

COUDERSPORT — Wellsboro pounded out 16 base hits and routed Coudersport 17-2 in non-league baseball play here Saturday.

Max Mascho (2b, 3 rbi, 1 run), Kody Enck (2b, 2 rbi, 1 run) and Gabe Cuneo (2b, 4 rbi, 3 runs) each had three base hits while Coen Tennis (2b, 3 rbi, 1 run) and Marek Mascho (2 rbi, 3 runs) had two each.

Griffin Morral (3 runs), Reed Richardson and Jacob Heckman (2 rbi) each had a base hit, Cameron Owlett had an RBI and a run scored, Gage Baltzley scored two runs and Maddon Mascho scored once.

Max Mascho started on the mound and went two innings, allowing no hits with one walk and four strikeouts. Baltzley pitched three and two-third innings, giving up two earned runs on seven hits and a walk with seven Ks and Cuneo recorded the final out of the win.

Now 7-2 on the season, Wellsboro returns to action Tuesday when they host Athens.
