HIGH SCHOOL TRACK & FIELD: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD GRABS MEDALS, RECORD AT RODDICK INVITATIONAL (April 18, 2026)

SHIPPENSBURG — North Penn-Mansfield athletes competed at the 99th Jack Roddick Invitational here Saturday where a handful of Tigers earned medals and Deakon Valentine set a new school record.

Luke Kreger placed 3rd in the high jump (6-2.00), the boys’ 4x800m relay team placed 5th (8:18.20), as did Deakon Valentine in the javelin, throwing 173-8.00 .. a new school record for North Penn-Mansfield.

Michael Knefley placed 19th in the 1600m run (4:35.30), Colton Pellett was 21st in the high jump (5-8.00), the 4x100m relay team was 27th (44.79), Braden VanLoon was 41st in the 800m run (2:08.56) and Knefley was 46th (2:10.49).

For the girls, the 4x800m relay team was 14th (10:37.92), the 4x100m squad was 24th (52.23), Scarlett Graham was 30th in the 400m (1:01.88), Jaci Fairchild was 46th in the 1600m run (5:44.52) and 52nd in the 800m (2:36.28) and Leila Garverick was 54th in the 3200m run (12:49.48).
