NTL SOFTBALL: NPL LADY MOUNTIES EDGE TOWANDA (April 21, 2026)

TOWANDA — North Penn-Liberty made their lone base hit of the game count in their 1-0 win over the host Towanda Lady Black Knights here Tuesday.

After two scoreless innings, Haley Litzelman delivered a two-out single in the top of the third that scored Maddie McNamara and Elyna Booth limited Towanda to three hits and struck out 11 to lift the Mounties to the 1-0 win.

The win avenges North Penn-Liberty’s 4-2 loss to Towanda in the two Large School squads’ first meeting. 

The Lady Mounties improve to 9-2 on the season with their 8th straight win. They’ll visit Troy on Thursday.
