NTL TRACK & FIELD: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD SPLITS TRI-MEET IN CANTON (April 21, 2026)

CANTON — The North Penn-Mansfield boys and girls Track & Field teams each went 1-1 at a tri-meet in Canton Tuesday .. falling to Wellsboro and beating the host Warriors.

The Tigers scored 82 points, behind Wellsboro (90) and ahead of Canton (16).

Deakon Valentine won the discus (135-6.00) and the javelin (147-10.00), Michael Knefley won the 800m (2:02.10) and Peter Bishop won the 400m (53.94).

Luke Kreger was 2nd in the high jump (6-2), Colton Pellett was 3rd (6-0) and Ashyr Cummings was 4th (5-4), Kreger was 2nd in the long jump (18-4) and Brody Grinnell was 4th (17-1.75), Gage Wheatley was 3rd in the triple jump (36-0.25) and Isaiah VanLoon was 4th (35-6.25), Grinnell was 2nd in the javelin (143-9.00) and Valentine was 3rd in the shot put (40-4). 

In the 100m dash Pellett was 2nd (11.94), Grinnell was 3rd (12.04) and Jeremiah Lawrence was 4th (12.44), Charles Aumick was 4th in the 200m (25.64) and 3rd in the 400m (56.84), Braden VanLoon was 2nd in the 800m (2:03.20), Mason Forer was 3rd in the 1600m (4:57.00) and David Graf was 4th (4:57.40), Forer was 2nd in the 3200m (12:24.60) and Graf was 3rd (12:27.90), Aumick was 2nd in the 110m hurdles (19.74) and Caleb Post was 3rd (21.04), Isaiah VanLoon was 2nd in the 300m hurdles (45.94), Lawrence was 3rd (50.34) and Post was 4th (53.04). 

The Lady Tigers scored 61 points, behind Wellsboro (94) and ahead of Canton (32).

Scarlett Graham won the 400m (1:06.02) and Jaci Fairchild won the 800m (2:33.00). 

Graham was 2nd in the 200m (27.74), Maryn McCarthy was 2nd in the 400m (1:06.94), Madilynn Scott was 4th in the 100m (13.74) and Moira Wheeler was 4th in the 800m (2:57.70).

Fairchild was 2nd in the 1600m (5:57.00), Leila Garverick was 3rd (6:01.30) and Wheeler was 4th (6:31.60), Garverick was 2nd in the 3200m (13:41.00) and Kara Barrett was 3rd (16:35.00), Nora Furry was 3rd in the 100m hurdles (18.54) and Anna Owlett was 4th (19.24) and Victoria McTish was 3rd in the 300m hurdles (54.94) and Owlett was 4th (54.94).

Furry was 2nd in the high jump (4-10) and the triple jump (30-10.50), Iris Irwin was 2nd in the shot put (25-2.00) and 3rd in the discus (74-11) and Emma Cummings was 3rd in the javelin (71-6).
