NTL BASEBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY ROLLS TO WIN OVER WILLIAMSON (April 23, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Nine Indians had base hits as Cowanesque Valley routed the visiting Williamson Warriors 17-3 in NTL baseball play here Thursday.
Williamson scored first, plating a pair of runs in the first inning, before CV answered with a seven run bottom half and went up 12-2 with a five run second frame.
The Warriors scored their final run in the third inning and the Indians provided the final with two runs in the third and three in the fourth.
Levis Stahli had two base hits, an RBI and two runs scored, Brody Bruce had a hit, two RBI and a run scored, Lucas Hamilton had a hit, an RBI and scored three runs, William Kies had a hit and three RBI and Drayden McGee had a hit and an RBI.
Hunter Simonds, Dave Hess and Cam Stahli each had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Gavin Churchill had a hit and scored twice.
Kegan Lane and Jacob Whitsell each had an RBI, Ayren Morgan scored three runs, Logan Huntington scored twice and Maddox West scored once.
The Indians used four pitchers in the win .. McGee, Cam Stahli, Whitsell and Morgan .. who combined to give up two Williamson hits, walk five and strikeout eight.
Weston Copp and Carter Tubbs had Williamson’s base hits in the loss while four Warriors .. Landyn Carlin, Xander Stafford, Ayden Silvernail and Spencer VanDelinder .. combined to allow 10 CV hits, walk 11 and strike out three.
CV (13-1) is scheduled to next visit Coudersport, on Saturday, while Williamson (2-9) is at Towanda next Thursday.
