VARSITY TRACK & FIELD: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD COMPETES AT LASAGNA INVITE (April 24, 2026)

WYALUSING — The North Penn-Mansfield Track & Field teams competed at Friday’s Lasagna Invite and both the boys and girls squads came away with a number of Top-12 finishes. 

The Tigers finished in 7th place out of 28 teams while the Lady Tigers were 13th among 21 squads.

Deacon Valentine had the highest finish of the day, placing 2nd in the discus (145-9) and also took 4th in the javelin (163-6), where Brody Grinnell was 8th (143-11).

The 4x800m relay team took 3rd (8:18.99), the 4x100m relay was 7th (3:37.73), Michael Knefley placed 4th in the 800m run (2:00.42) and Braden VanLoon was 7th (2:02.27).

Luke Kreger placed 4th in the high jump (6-2) and Colton Pellett was 7th (5-10) and Pellett finished 10th in the triple jump (38-6.5).

For the girls, Madilynn Scott placed 3rd in the triple jump (34-2.5) while the 4x100m relay was 3rd (51.75), the 4x800m relay was 4th (10:35.83) and the 4x400m relay finished 6th (4:26.44). 

Jaci Fairchild was 8th in the 1600m run (5:34.64) while Scarlett Graham was 9th in the 800m (2:32.96) and Fairchild was 12th (2:35.47). Leila Garverick was 10th in the 3200m (12:25.44) and Nora Furry was 11th in both the 100m hurdles (18.07) and the high jump (4-6).
