Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The NTWSR / Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are North Penn-Liberty softball player Haley Litzelman and Wellsboro tennis player Mason Brill.
Senior Haley Litzelman had the Lady Mounties’ lone base hit to drive in their lone run in a 1-0 win over Towanda and had three hits, with a triple and a double, two RBI and a run scored in NPL’s 4-2 win over Troy.
Junior Mason Brill won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 Singles in the Hornets’ 4-1 win over South Williamsport, won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 Singles in an NTL-clinching 4-3 win over Towanda and won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 Singles in Wellsboro’s regular season finale, a 5-0 win over Muncy.
