VARSITY SOFTBALL: WELLSBORO NO-HITS COUDERSPORT IN 18-0 WIN (May 2, 2026)Northern Tier West Sports ReportCOUDERSPORT — Wellsboro got a game closer to .500 here Saturday, routing the host Coudersport Lady Falcons 18-0 behind a combined four inning no-hitter by Ady Frantz and Gena Fleming.
Frantz started and pitched two and two-third innings, walking one with eight strikeouts, while Fleming threw an inning and a third with one walk and one K.
Fleming had two base hits, two RBI and two runs scored and Teagan Noving had two hits, two RBI and scored once.
Haylie Smith had a hit, an RBI and scored three runs, Kaylee Frazie had a hit and a run scored and Paityn Biery had a hit and an RBI.
Frantz had an RBI and three runs scored, Emaliegh Hamblin and Lacie Brutsman each had an RBI and a run scored, Maddie Flannery scored three runs and Rylee Coolidge, Mazie Johnson and Delaney Morral each scored a run.
The Lady Hornets improve to 8-9 on the season with three regular season games remaining, starting Tuesday at Williamson.
