Canton scored a run in the first inning, two in the second, one in the third, two in both the fourth and fifth innings and one in the sixth.

Maddox Hartman started and was tagged with he loss for Williamson, going three innings and allowing six earned runs on 10 Canton base hits and a walk with four strikeouts. Kohen VanDelinder pitched the final three innings and gave up three unearned runs on three hits and a walk with two Ks.

Carter Tubbs had two of Williamson’s four base hits in the loss while Landyn Carlin had a double, Kohen VanDelinder had a hit and Weston Copp reached base three times, twice after being hit by a pitch and once on a walk.

Williamson (2-12) is scheduled to return to action Tuesday at home against Wellsboro.
