NTL BASEBALL: TIGERS EARN COMEBACK WIN OVER NORTHEAST BRADFORD (May 5, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportROME — North Penn-Mansfield came back from a run down in the sixth inning to beat the host NEB Panthers 3-1 in an NTL baseball match-up here Tuesday.
After three and a half scoreless innings, Northeast Bradford scored their lone run of the game in the bottom of the fourth.
The Tigers got back-to-back singles from Collin Oakes and Jason Harer to start the sixth and Ryder Breon’s sac bunt advanced both runners. Isaac Sparks drove Oakes home to tie the game and a NEB error off Noah Musser’s bat scored both Harer and Sparks to complete the comeback win.
Sparks started on the mound and went five innings, allowing an earned run on four NEB hits with four strikeouts. Musser relieved Sparks and got the win, pitching the final two innings and not allowing a hit while walking two and striking out three.
Oakes finished with two base hits and a run scored, Musser had a hit and drove in two runs, Sparks had a hit, an RBI and a run scored, Harer had a hit and scored and Andy Hermansen and Brock Deitrick each had a base hit in the win.
The Tigers (5-10) are scheduled to return to play on Thursday when they host Williamson.
