The Indians scored a first inning run, Towanda plated three runs in the second inning and CV built a 7-3 lead with three runs in each of the second and third innings. The Black Knights scored their last run in the fifth and Cowanesque Valley added four insurance runs in the sixth to provide the final. 

Gavin Churchill and Brody Bruce led the way at the plate for the Indians with three base hits each. Churchill added three RBI and a run scored and Bruce drove in two runs. 

Dave Hess had two hits, an RBI and a run scored, Lucas Hamilton had two hits and scored three runs, Ayren Morgan had a hit, two RBI and a run scored, Levi Stahli and William Kies each had a hit and a run scored, Hunter Simonds scored two runs and Drayden McGee scored once. 

Morgan started on the mound and went an inning and a third, allowing three earned runs on seven Towanda base hits while Hess earned the win, going three and two-third innings and giving up an earned run on two hits with three strikeouts. Stahli pitched the final two innings without allowing a run, giving up one hit with a walk and three strikeouts.

The Indians’ seniors .. Ayren Morgan, Levi Stahli, Hunter Simonds, William Kies and Brayden McGee .. were recognized following the win. 

CV (16-2) is scheduled to visit Troy on Thursday for their final regular season game.
