NTL TRACK & FIELD: WILLIAMSON SQUADS COMPETE AT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS (May 8, 2026)

ATHENS — The Williamson Track & Field teams competed at Friday’s NTL Championships with the Lady Warriors placing 4th and the boys’ taking 8th.

The girls scored 70 points, behind Athens (101.5), Towanda (126.5) and champ Athens (145) and ahead of Wyalusing (69.5), NP-Mansfield (62), Canton (62), Troy (41.5) and NEB (13).

Madalynn Bailey won the long jump (18-3), Raegan VanGorden won the high jump (5-0) and the 4x800m relay was 1st (10:12.12) for Williamson’s event wins on the day.

Bailey was 2nd in the 800m (2:23.69), Lainey Hackett was 3rd (2:27.85) and Maddison Fay was 8th (2:31.57), Hackett was 7th in the 1600m (5:32.86) and Fay was 8th (5:47.10), Hackett was 5th in the 3200m (12:23.48) and Natalie Yonker was 7th (12:29.21), Elizabeth O’Neil was 4th in the 100m hurdles (17.02) and 5th in the 300m hurdles (51.65), Anna Lee was 4th in the triple jump (33-4), Sayde Loucks was 4th in the discus (100-5) and 8th in the shot put (28-10) and Adelina Lanzo was 7th in the javelin (89-9).

The boys scored 32.5 points, ahead of NEB (16) and Sayre (10). North Penn-Mansfield won the title with 138 points.

In the 100m dash, Hayden Plunkert was 4th (12.03) and Joshua Teague was 6th (12.10), Teague was 6th in the 200m (24.22) and Plunkert was 7th (24.34), Teague was 5th in the 400m (52.10), Troy Madison was 4th in the pole vault (10-6), AJ Hargarther was 4th in the high jump (5-8) and 7th in the long jump (18-3), Ben Bower was 6th in the 300m hurdles (46.63) and the 4x400m relay finished 8th (3:58.51).
