NTL SOFTBALL: CV LADY INDIANS FALL IN DISTRICT PLAYOFFS(May 19, 2026) Northern Tier West Sports Report WILLIAMSPORT — The Cowanesque Valley softball team saw their season come to an end at Elm Park on Tuesday, falling 14-0 to Montgomery in the District IV Class A playoffs.
Second-seeded Montgomery rolled to the five inning win, scoring three runs in each of the 1st, 2nd and 4th innings and adding five runs in the 3rd while limiting No. 3 seed CV to three base hits in the game.
Zeraya Wilson, Emma Carl and Katie Huzey had the Lady Indians’ hits, all singles.
Lilah LaBarron started in the circle for CV and took the loss, going two and a third innings and allowing nine runs (3 earned) on six base hits with one strikeout. Carl pitched the final one and two-third innings and gave up five runs (1 earned) on two hits and a walk.
Cowanesque Valley finishes their 2026 season with a record of 10-11.
