NTL SOFTBALL: WILLIAMSON LADY WARRIORS 2026 SEASON RECAP (June 4, 2026)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportLAWRENCEVILLE — The Williamson softball team earned a Small School title by going 7-1 in the division and went 13-8 overall in the 2026 season.
Besides a season-splitting 7-3 loss to Canton, the Lady Warriors rolled through the NTL-II, winning their seven games over Northeast Bradford, Sayre, Canton and CV by an average of 9 runs per contest.
After dropping the late season game to Canton in the first game of a double-header, Williamson went 5-1 to finish the regular season 13-7. Their loss came against North Penn-Liberty, 3-0, and the streak included wins over Canton, two over Addison, Wellsboro and a 3-1 win over 15-4 Northern Potter.
The Warriors were the third and final team to make the 2A playoffs and fell to Wyalusing 7-3 to bring their season to an end.
Junior Olivia Gee led the Lady Warriors at the plate, collecting 23 base hits .. with a home run, a triple and two doubles .. and hit .383 with 23 runs scored, 20 stolen bases, nine RBI and a .479 on-base-percentage.
Gee also went 6-4 in the circle for Williamson, throwing 53 and two-third innings with a 1.57 ERA and 64 strikeouts.
Ace Kenna Thomas went 7-3 over 72 and a third innings with a 1.16 ERA, 95 strikeouts and issued just seven walks. The senior had 19 base hits .. including two home runs, a triple and six doubles .. and hit .358 with 20 RBI and 15 runs scored with a .500 OBP.
Williamson backstop Lexi Smalley led the Lady Warriors with a .404 batting average and a .547 OBP. The junior had 21 base hits .. with a home run and nine doubles .. and added 20 runs, 14 RBI, 13 walks and was hit by a pitch seven times.
Sophomore Jocelyn Colegrove led Williamson with 26 RBI, collecting 20 base hits on the season .. including six home runs and four doubles .. and added 13 runs scored and a .437 OBP.
Sophomore Alexis Sprague (.228 BA, 13 hits, 17 runs, 5 RBI, .343 OBP, 6 SB), freshmen Ashlyn Wells (.228 BA, 13 hits, 12 runs, 3 RBI, .254 OBP) and Mckenzie Adriance (.196 BA, 9 hits, 13 runs, 4 RBI, .315 OBP, 5 SB), senior Laila Hackett (.185 BA, 10 hits, 8 runs, 11 RBI, .323 OBP, 8 SB) and sophomore Aubree Roe (.122 BA, 6 hits, 7 runs, .218 OBP, 3 SB) rounded out the Lady Warriors’ lineup.
