TO PLAY FOR TITLE SUNDAY(July 10, 2026) Northern Tier West Sports Report ATHENS — The Wellsboro major All-Star baseball team fell for the first time in postseason play here Friday, losing 9-2 to Athens to set up a rematch with the Wildcats on Sunday for the PA District 15 championship.
The title game is scheduled to be played in Athens on Sunday at 4 p.m. The winner advances to the Sectional tournament.
