LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL: SOUTHERN TIOGA 10-RUNS TOWANDA TO REACH PA DISTRICT 15 FINAL (July 10, 2026)

SAYRE — The Southern Tioga 10U baseball All-Stars earned a spot in the PA District 15 finals after rolling to an 11-1 consolation bracket win over Towanda here Friday.

Southern Tioga scored four runs in the first inning, six in the second and their final run in the third inning, allowing Towanda’s lone run in the top of the fourth.

Brock Boland had two base hits in the win while Troy DeHaven, Lucas House (2b), Gabe Wise and Kash Smith had a hit each. Boland and House scored two runs apiece and DeHaven, Gavin Wilcox, Rivers Neal, Jonah Harer, Wilcox and Smith each scored once. 

Wilcox started on the mound and pitched three innings, allowing no runs on one base hit and a walk with two strikeouts. Boland threw the final inning, allowing one earned run on two Towanda hits.

The championship game is scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m. against Athens back in Sayre. Southern Tioga will need to beat Athens twice as the Wildcats haven’t lost in the double-elimination tournament.
