Athens and Southern Tioga each scored a pair of runs in their first at-bats and the game stayed tied at 2-all until the top of the fourth frame when Athens tacked on three runs. 

Southern Tioga scored their final run in the bottom half of the fourth and Athens sealed the title with a two-run fifth to provide the final.

Gavin Wilcox had two base hits for Southern Tioga in the loss while Troy DeHaven had a triple and Barrett Straniere added a single. DeHaven scored twice and Rowan Smith scored once. 

Lucas House started and went three and a third innings on the mound for Southern Tioga, allowing two earned runs on two hits and three walks with seven strikeouts. Brock Boland finished, going two and two-third innings and giving up five earned runs on eight Athens' hits and seven walks with two K's. 

Southern Tioga finishes the tournament with a 6-2 record, with both losses coming to the District champion Athens' squad.
