NTL VOLLEYBALL: WILLIAMSON SWEEPS CV IN SEASON OPENER (August 28, 2026)

TIOGA JUNCTION — The Williamson volleyball team opened their 2026 season with a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Cowanesque Valley Lady Indians here Friday.

The Lady Warriors won 25-14, 25-17 and 25-20.

Olivia Nolan finished with 14 kills for Williamson and added 19 service points with 14 aces and five digs. 

Laine LaPointe had 21 assists and five points with two aces, Bailey Snyder had eight digs and seven points, Olivia Gee had seven points and four digs, Dana LaPointe had five kills, six points and six digs and Aubrey Wells had five kills and three points. 

Madison Potter led CV with 11 service points. 

Both Williamson and Cowanesque Valley will return to action Saturday at Williamson’s tournament.
