NTL VOLLEYBALL: NORTH PENN-LIBERTY SWEPT IN OPENER BY TOWANDA (August 29, 2026)

TOWANDA — North Penn-Liberty was swept 3-0 by Towanda in their season opener here Saturday.

Towanda won 25-20, 25-18 and 25-14 to get the 3-0 sweep.

Lilly McNamara had 16 digs, 10 kills, two blocks and an assist for the Lady Mounties while Maddison Smith had 14 assists, eight digs and two kills, Maddie McNamara had 21 digs and four assists, Elaina Shaw had four kills, six digs and an assist, Gabby Bubeck had eight digs, two kills and an assist, Vicky McTish had six digs, three kills and a block and Kendall Graham had two kills and a dig.

NPL is scheduled to return to action Tuesday when they host Wellsboro.
