HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD DROPS NON-LEAGUE GAME TO NORTHUMBERLAND (September 10, 2026)

MANSFIELD — The Lady Tigers jumped out to an early lead on Northumberland Christian but couldn’t hold on for the win, falling 3-2 in non-league girls’ soccer action here Thursday.

Addi Lehman gave North Penn-Mansfield a 1-0 lead seven minutes in, and found Jaci Fairchild for a score a minute later and the Lady Tigers led 2-0.

Northumberland went on a seven-minute tear and scored three straight goals to take the halftime lead before holding on for a scoreless second half and earning the non-leage ‘W’.

The Tigers were outshot 13-7 and had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks. Keeper Avalon Rew recorded 10 saves in net for NPM.

North Penn-Mansfield is scheduled to return to play on Saturday when they host Wellsboro.
