WELLSBORO — The Hornets scored four second half goals to pull away for a 5-0 win over Galeton here Tuesday.

Octavian Wyman scored midway through the first half and the Hornets led 1-0 at the break.

Gabe Cuneo scored less than two minutes into the second half .. off a Liam Stevens assist .. and Colin Fletcher made it 3-0 Wellsboro a few minutes later.

Mason Brill scored off a Fletcher assist and assisted on James Doughtie’s goal to provide the final.

Wellsboro outshot Galeton 13-3 while holding a 7-5 advantage in corner kicks and keeper Camden Bryant recorded three saves in net for the Hornets.

Wellsboro (4-1-1) is scheduled to return to play on Thursday against Athens.
