NTL VOLLEYBALL: WELLSBORO SWEEPS ATHENS(September 17, 2026) Northern Tier West Sports Report WELLSBORO — The Lady Hornets rolled to a three-set sweep of visiting Athens in an NTL volleyball match-up here Thursday.
Wellsboro won the sets 25-17, 25-22 and 25-19.
Jillian Mickey had 17 assists, five digs and 12 service points with three aces while Peyton Keane had six kills, nine digs and six points.
Ady Frantz had seven kills and a block, Gena Fleming had seven kills, Ellie Largey had 13 assists, Maddy Cruttenden had 15 digs and three assists and Kendall Sweet had nine points with two aces and a block.
Wellsboro (5-1) is scheduled to return to play on Monday at Williamsport.
