TIOGA COUNTY — The NTWSR / Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are Wellsboro girls’ soccer goalie Jadyn Dunlap and Cowanesque Valley football’s Dave Hess.

In a 1-1 draw with perennial powerhouse Troy, Dunlap had six saves in net, including the 500th of her career. The senior made nine saves and recorded her fourth shutout victory of the season in a 1-0 win over Muncy.
Dunlap now sits at 511 saves and 19 shutouts for her career.

Hess ran for 169 yards and a pair of scores in the Indians’ 29-0 homecoming win over Wyalusing at MU. Hess took the first carry of the game 70 yards for a score and caught one pass in the win, good for 17 yards.
