NTL GOLF: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD HOSTS FINAL LEAGUE MATCH (September 24, 2026)

MANSFIELD — North Penn-Mansfield hosted the last league meet of the season at Corey Creek Thursday and placed 5th, leaving the Tigers 4th in the NTL.

Athens (319) edged out Towanda (320) for low score on the day but the Black Knights held onto the league title by finishing 32-3 on the year, just ahead of Athens (31-4). 

Wellsboro (354) was 3rd on the day while Cowanesque Valley was 4th, the Tigers were 5th (366), Canton was 6th (374), Wyalusing was 7th (392) and Sayre finished last (407).

Collin Oakes led the way for Mansfield, shooting an 81 (40, 41) with a birdie and 11 pars. Benton Zay shot an 87 (45, 42) while Layne Cummings had a 98 (49, 49), Ryder Breon had a 100 (51, 49), Bryce Pequignot had a 104 (50, 54) and Jameson Crum had a 106 (51, 55).

The Tigers finished the league season 21-13, good for 4th place behind Towanda, Athens and Wellsboro (24-11) and ahead of CV (16-18), Wyalusing (9-26), Canton (6-28) and Sayre (0-35).
