HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY: KNEFLEY, GARVERICK LEAD NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD AT OWEGO NIGHT RACE (September 25, 2026)

OWEGO, NY — North Penn-Mansfield ran at the Owego Night Invitational 5K on Friday, where Michael Knefley finished 2nd and Leila Garverick was 7th in the girls’ race. 

Knefley (15:51.4) finished 2nd in the boys’ race, followed by teammates David Graf (17:45.2) in 39th, Isaiah VanLoon (18:25.3) in 64th and Alex Mahosky (20:42.8) in 148th.

In the girls’ race, Garverick (19:46.1) was 7th, Jaci Fairchild (20:10.4) was 15th, Carolyn Cherwinski (23:03.1) was 57th, Emma Cummings (28:44.7) was 141st and Bailey Smith (29:48.3) was 146th.
