NTL CROSS COUNTRY: KOSEK WINS AT TROY BUT HORNETS FALL (September 29, 2026)

EAST TROY — The Wellsboro cross country teams each fell to Troy at Mt. Pisgah Tuesday, despite a win by Lauren Kosek in the girls’ race. 

The Lady Hornets lost 26-29 to the Trojans. Kosek won in 21:56, followed by teammates Molly Tice (29:40) in 5th, Luisa Crocco (30:07) in 6th, Anja Przybycien (31:01) in 8th and Brianna O’Shea Losinger (31:02) in 9th.

Troy won 16-47 on the boys’ side. Will Rudy (21:19) was Wellsboro’s top finisher, placing 5th, while Taitt Webster (23:12.30) was 11th, Lucas Crowl (23:12.76) was 12th, Jack Hammerton (24:24.05) was 13th, Jacob Patterson (24:24.34) was 14th, Jesse Spicer (24:24.57) was 15th, Jeff Rawson (26:15) was 18th, Justin Dunlap (30:38) was 19th and Aaron Salevsky (30:42) was 20th.
