NTL CROSS COUNTRY: COWANESQUE VALLEY BOYS CLAIM NTL TITLE (2021-10-12)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportROME, PA — The Cowanesque Valley boys swept the top-three finishes overall, went unbeaten in their quad-meet at Northeast Bradford High School and secured the NTL Large School cross country title by handing previously unbeaten Athens their lone loss on the season.
CV finishes their season at 10-0.

Owen Cummings (17:07), Kristian Mizdail (17:10) and Nathaniel Welch (17:40) finished 1-2-3 for the Indians.
Glen Barnes (19:50) was 11th and Nate Boyer (20:11) was 14th.

Despite having just enough runners to score as a team, CV was able to win two of three in the four-team meet.
Chelsea Hungerford (23:39) finished fourth overall in the race, while Ali Bieser (25:53) was eighth, McKenna Cary (26:04) was 9th, Teagan Jones (26:39) was 12th and Ryann Slusser (30:46) finished 18th.
