NTL BOYS BASKETBALL: NP-LIBERTY TOPS SMALL-SCHOOL FOE NEB (2022-01-12)

ROME — North Penn-Liberty jumped out to a big halftime lead and held Northeast Bradford to three fourth-quarter points as the Mounties rolled to a 56-33 win in NTL Small School action Wednesday.

Derek Litzelman hit for 11 first quarter points and Devin Bradley added eight as the Mounties took a 19-11 lead into the second quarter.

Noah Shedden hit a pair of threes and had eight points as NPL extended their lead to 34-17 at the break.

NEB held a 13-10 advantage in the third quarter, but the Mounties outscored the Panthers 12-3 in the final frame to secure the win.

Litzelman finished with 18 points to lead NPL, and added five assists and five steals, while Bradley scored 17 points and had four rebounds and three steals.

Shedden had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Kyle Davis added seven points and Caiden Alexander and Talon Kolb each had two points.

The win leaves NP-Liberty at 7-4 on the season and they are scheduled to host CV Friday.
