Northern Tier West Sports ReportMILTON — Cowanesque Valley fell behind early and lost 33-15 to Meadowbrook Christian Academy in a non-league girls’ basketball match-up Saturday.
The Lady Indians were held scoreless in the first quarter and fell behind 12-6 at the half.
A 9-5 third-quarter advantage for Meadowbrook and a 12-4 fourth provided the final.
Paisley Nudd led CV with five points, while Ella Churchill and Maddie Millard each added three points.
Lily Vargeson scored two points and Ashley Woodring and Janna Quick each had one point.
The Indians fall to 1-9 on the season with the loss. They are scheduled to visit Towanda on Monday.
