Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — North Penn-Mansfield was held to their lowest point total of the season Tuesday .. 28 points below their average .. as small school-leader Wyalusing came to town and knocked off the large school Tigers 45-31 in NTL boys crossover play.
The Rams jumped out to a 17-10 lead after one quarter, before limiting the Tigers to single digits in every remaining quarter of the game.
Down 26-16 at the break, NP-Mansfield cut the lead to seven with a 9-6 advantage in the third quarter, but the Rams scored 13 in the fourth and limited the Tigers to six points to secure the win.
Alex Davis led the Tigers with 10 points, including two threes, while Brody Burleigh and Karson Dominick each scored six points.
Sam Lawrence had five points and Andrew Green and Eli Shaw each chipped in with two points.
The Tigers fall to 903 on the season with the loss. They are scheduled to visit North Penn-Liberty on Thursday.
