The Defenders went on the offensive early, scoring 13 seconds into the game on an 80-yard touchdown pass. They added a 20-yard TD pass less than three minutes later, followed by a 20-yard scoring run, a 53-yard TD pass and a 55-yard punt return with 19 seconds left to take a 35-0 lead into the second frame. 

Bentley Chilson put North Penn-Mansfield on the scoreboard with a 1-yard touchdown run with five minutes left in the third quarter for the Panthers’ lone score of the night. 

Warrior Run added their final score at the end of the third quarter. 

Chilson finished with 66 yards rushing and the score on 16 carries, while Luke Kreger had 12 rushes for 26 yards and Ryder Breon had six carries for 20 yards. 

Bradley Brooks finished 4-of-10 passing for 65 yards with one pick as Patrick Youmans had three catches for 38 yards. 

The Panthers drop to 4-2 on the season with their second loss in a row. They’ll host Muncy at Island Park next Friday night.
